Here is a spontaneous commission from a band called The Ray Gradys (duh!). They started an online radio show and they wanted a logo of some sort. So here it is, after couple hours of selecting, layer styling and animating. Download to view the animation!

EDIT: Moved the head up a bit and resized the sign so it's a bit bigger, as requested by the band.

EDIT again: resized the sign AGAIN, and moved the hand to front.

EDIT again again: deleted the "the" on the sign. They never mentioned that till NOW. It's alright, they're a great band, great attitude, and a great lead singer/guitarist (ya better be readin' this Earl!). So hopefully this is the final version. Wish me luck

EDIT (last one, I swear): Yep. Victory at last. this logo won the competition. I must say, I was getting a bit pessimistic about my work ever since my Threadless venture...This really gave me a boost. There wasn't much competition (which really surprised me...Myspace is a huge community, and these guys have quite a few friends...), but it doesn't really matter. I was really happy to find out that the band liked it. Unfortunately, when I gave the band my mailing address, I forgot to give them my name, and, hence, the package never made it to me... Nevermind, I got it!!!
